So one day

anaclaime decided that she wanted to run a 5K.

This may have not been the wisest idea as she is extremely out of shape and abhors running with every fiber of her soul.
The situation has been made even more interesting by the fact that the aforementioned 5K takes place about a three weeks into her junior year and a month and a half into the high school marching band season.

What follows is a chronicle of her experiences.
